How Trendy Mega Basket collects, uses and protects your personal information.

This policy explains what personal information Trendy Mega Basket ("we", "us") collects when you visit trendymegabasket.com or place an order, how we use it and the choices you have. We are based in Fort Wainwright, Alaska.
Information we collect
- Order details: name, email, phone, delivery address, the products you order and any notes you add.
- Messages: what you send us through the contact form, by email, phone or text.
- Newsletter: your email address if you subscribe to The Basket Brief.
- Basket data: your basket, promo code and shipping choice are stored in your own browser (local storage) so they are still there when you come back. This data is not sent to us until you place an order.
- Technical data: our web host may keep standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and troubleshooting.
We do not collect payment card numbers on this website. Payments are made through a secure link from our payment processor, which handles your card details under its own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your order, including sending your payment link and shipping updates.
- To answer your questions.
- To send the newsletter if you asked for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the store, such as our payment processor, shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx), email and form providers and our web host, and only as needed for them to do that work. We may disclose information if required by law.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses your browser's local storage for the basket. We do not use advertising cookies. The embedded Google map on our home and contact pages may set its own cookies under Google's policy.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as needed for tax and accounting, usually seven years. Newsletter addresses are deleted when you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept for up to two years.
Security and breach notification
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. If a breach of security affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by the Alaska Personal Information Protection Act (AS 45.48).
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. If you live in a state with its own privacy law, we will honor the rights that law gives you.
Children
The site is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
